Welcome to the first installment of the National Lampoon DotCom Book Parody Club. There is a very large void to fill now that Orca Winfrey has tired of taking under-the-table payola from publishers, and wants to move the focus of her show to women's issues and sandwiches. Each installment of the NLDCBPC will give you fellas out there an opportunity to get together at your local Hooters and discuss the finer points of classic literary parody while your wives think you're working late.

What you can expect from me is fine parodies of well-known books and authors in these pages until I get tired of doing it.

First up, is a startlingly accurate parody of those amateur sleuths, whose mysteries are required reading at Catholic seminaries all across the world, the Hardy Boys. As you're reading this, keep in the back of your mind the number of synonyms that exist for the word "said." In this story, I lost count after 100.
