National Lampoon Dotcom Flashbacks Presents
The Directory To International Terrorism

But first, a message from your humble archivist, the Scanner Bitch

How much can the world change in a few short weeks? The last time I put up an installment for you, America was at peace, the Twin Towers soared over Manhattan, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer was on the WB.

Now, all that has changed.

We have declared war on an nation-less army. An army that has declared war on us even though we generally don't give a red, white and blue shit about them.

In response, the U.S.A. has declared war on all forms of terrorism, and everyone from the wild-eyed radicals who lob Molotov cocktails into government offices to the folks at Publisher's Clearinghouse are quaking in their boots in the face of our wrath.

We need to know our enemy, however, and this Flashback from the May, 1979 issue of National Lampoon should give you all the information you need. Sadly, it will also show you how little has changed in twenty years.

ALSO: In case you're a bit confused about the motivations behind the attack on the U.S.A., here's a little sidebar that appeared in the same issue that should clear everything up.
