Jeremy Piven and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges chat with The Zaz!

Jeremy Piven of “Entourage” and rapper/actor Chris “Ludacris” Bridges sat down for a chat with The Zaz! They’re out and about promoting their new Guy Richie film, ROCKNROLLA. RocknRolla is Richie’s latest action packed London drug and mob flick. The film stars Piven and Bridges, along with Idris Elba, Gerry Butler, and Thandie Newton. Ludacris and Piven talk about their American accents, Madonna, and of course, metabolism.

The Reason We Don’t Cover Music

It’s quite simple, according to their official website, Norway’s a-ha has done it all:

As friends, musicians, stars and human beings, a-ha have in the course of time accomplished almost everything…

And this video is the proof:
Why is it proof? I honestly believe the band made this video themselves as part of a-ha’s plan to re-establish themself as a musical powerhouse for a new generation. “Let’s go viral and be ironic! The kids will love it.”

Face Front, True Believer!

I always wanted to say that. For all you comic book fans out there, both the hardcore and sporadic readers, the aptly named Comic Book Club is a very cool weekly podcast and blog about all things superhero. It’s hosted out of the PIT here in New York (the improv theater, not the Mortal Kombat stage…although wouldn’t that be cool…). There are live shows every Tuesday at 8pm–it’s a fun, well kept secret. The website and videos are here and here respectively.

Here’s this week’s info:

The Timony Brothers (Night Owls)
Mark Sable (Grounded, Cyborg)

Crooked X: The New Faces of Old Fashion Rock N Roll

Hey Zazzers

I recently got a chance to talk to Crooked X, the hard rock band comprised of 14 year old boys… a certain King of Pop music’s wet dream, tee-hee… creepy. Anywhoooo, their EP drops today and I listened to it. Just wanted to let you know that I consumed the product that they produced which is what our capitalist society revolves around and if you really want to help the economy, you’ll buy it too. I know what you’re thinking: “What do some teenage moptops know about Rocking in the free world? How could they possibly be able to rock as hard as bands like Winger or Aerosmith?” Legitimate concerns but they blow Winger out of the water and remind you of Aerosmith’s old stuff (when it used to be good). Need I remind you that the Beatles were once teenagers???

Oh and watch their new MTV show. When will it be on you say? Well, ask and you shall receive… it will aired “at a later date.” So there you have it. Crooked X, I interviewed them. Watch that too.
